Harvest Season

Keith pulled out some old costumes. Kyle has absolutely loved wearing the adult sized Superman cape & belt. Here he's posing as super applesauce maker. Josh & Sam also got into the action. They were Mommy's little helpers. One of these years all this training will work out to our advantage & they will actually be helping not hindering.

The boys got to dress up for a few different parties. They went as two knights & a dragon for the Boo at the Zoo party.

Side view of Keith pumpkin creation.

Keith's pumpkin sculpture of a man pulling himself out of the pumpkin.

Here Keith is passing on an important tradition for our family. Pumpkin carving is taken very seriously from researching designs to sculpting the masterpieces. Here Keith is starting Kyle off with a little more traditional carving.

Kyle's 4th Birthday was Oct. 7th. This is the first time he's been old enough to really anticipate it & get excited about getting certain things for presents. This year the big deal gift was the Lego Batman video game. Here we've captured his look of pure joy when he opened the long awaited gift. He still tells everyone about it every time he answers the phone.

The littliest helpers get to be the tast testers. It has truly been a bounteous harvest with enough & to spare. Our coffers are filled to overflowing & we've been sharing with others.

Harvest time is truly a family affair. This day, we all met at Grandma & Grandpa Ormond's to make applesauce. Everyone had work to do but enjoyed it mostly. In this photo everyone is shouting " We love Applesauce!!!"

Keith ranked up another belt level in Kung Fu. Now he has a purple belt. We're very proud of him.

I am blown away by how big your boys are. These pics where SO fun to see. Wish we could have been there for the applesauce. I'm so glad we are planning on coming back to Boise when Rob is done.. It helps me feel better about missing out on all this stuff when I know we will be able to make memories together in the near future. Love you and miss you. P.S. Only four weeks until Christmas break!!!
